Amber is an orphan of Glyph, making a modest living as a trader in that great free city. Returning from a supply run, something forces her small spacecraft down an uncharted world.
After surviving the crash, her Web reader suddenly has an entry for it.
It’s called Calyptra. The info on it is grossly inaccurate. Its day is dark, its night bright, and it’s haunted by phantom predators.
Amber sets out looking for someone, anyone who can help her get off this nightmare of a world. She finds a ghost who tells her the way and then abandons her before she can get there.
To get out, she must go through Hell.
Literally.
