Teller of Fate

Intermezzo: The Second Templar War

* * *

The events that became known as the Second Templar War saw the end of many things, not the least of which was the death of the entity called the White God.

The disaster that saw ITs initial release into the sub-Reality containing the Thirty Aions ended the most progressive era in the known history of the Multiverse.

ITs end meant little. The damage had been done. Knowledge and Peoples and whole chunks of Reality had been lost.

Another end was that of the Templars themselves. Though they hadv all but ceased to exist as a race long before, their echoes had continued to influence the peoples of the Thirty Aions. That influence would dwindle with the departure of Azhure’en’s raison d’être. But their hope for the future of the Multiverse would gain new life in times that f0llowed.

The Mother Lodge would continue as a hub of learning and travel, but something of its magick was gone. Only the generation that lived through those times would notice.

Eventually, the prejudice against the Syrat and its Tellers would go as well. The pivotal role played by Dævara Teller would, in no small part, contribute to that.

The Hermetists would thrive and grow in the times that followed, becoming the de facto governors of the Thirty Aions and beyond.

The Apian Roads would be used again in coming centuries, leading indirectly the Myr Wars.

And the City Glyph would remain the raucous crossroads of the Thirty Aions for a long, long time.
